Our first baby new year is growing up and so is the boy's cousin Lauren. She was born exactly one year ago today and we wish her a very happy birthday!
We had some friends over yesterday to help us ring the new year and we decided to let Brian and Spencer decide when they were ready to go to bed. Brian (aka: the party animal) was the life of the party until 11:40pm! When his head hit the pillow, we think he was already asleep! Unfortunately, his internal alarm clock still woke him up at 6:30am this morning. To make up for some lost Zzzzzzz's, he took a 2 1/2 hour nap this morning! We hope all of you had a safe and happy new year and that your 2009 will be the best year yet!
