Bedtime at our house continues to be a relatively easy and enjoyable process. Once Brian has said his good nights and given hugs and kisses to Mommy, Daddy and Spencer its time to retire to his bedroom to pick out the books he wants read to him. After three or four books, it's time to jump into bed, say our prayers and "get tucked". Brian is a big fan of having his blanket tucked in under him to the point where he looks like a little mummy! Once the I Love You's have been exchanged, the lights have been turned off and the gate is up in the doorway.....this is the next thing we see!
Sometimes Mommy or Daddy give the "get back in bed Brian" command and sometimes they just ignore him. Both options usually get the same result. After a few minutes at the doorway he either picks himself out another book or just gets back into bed to go to sleep.
