How's the weather up there? If you had today's tool of the day, the fiberglass 6 foot A-frame ladder, you would know that its warm, humid and windy in our backyard today!
Whenever possible, Brian likes to pass on safety tips in these tool of the day segments so.......as the ladder states, "The top step is NOT a step!" and "Watch out for electrical wires overhead!"

Dear Brian Thomas,
Speaking of ladders:
The other day as I was walking home along Nicollet Mall, I wasn't paying attention and inadvertently walked right under a ladder that was propped up against the wall of the Walgreens over at 9th Street. Now, it wasn't a fiberglass 6 foot A-frame ladder but it was a ladder all the same. Because of my unfortunate boo-boo, am I doomed to a life of bad luck until you're just about getting ready to enter 2nd grade?
Any insight you can provide with regard to my predicament would be much appreciated. Thanks for your time, Brian, and don't forget to eat your veggies.
Signed,
H.I.M.
PS You're getting big! If you could just stay little until your Makita® 12" Dual Slide Compound Miter Saw wears out. {sigh}
Dear H.I.M. -
I would love to help you out here Uncle Corey but as I am not quite walking yet, I have never experienced this "walking under a ladder" concept of which you speak. But fear not, I went to my Daddy and asked him to advise me on the matter. He said that although the situation you have described is not a good one to be in, it CAN be corrected. Go back to where the ladder was located and walk backwords under it. This will reverse any damage that has been done to your luck. He did mention that even though it would be best to use the same ladder you initially walked under, any ladder would work to reverse the damage. If you are unable to perform this task, I am sorry to say, yes, you will have bad luck until I'm in the 2nd grade.
Good luck to you and I'll have a veggie in your name for dinner tonight!
Love,
Brian Thomas
